My first inkling of a call to ministry was on a freeway. I was headed to teach an adult Sunday school class and I was singing—no radio, CD, or streaming service playing, just me belting out tunes. And, then and there, I realized talking about Jesus made me joyful. No, more than that: it made me feel alive. As a teacher, I’d spent my entire adult life to that point in front of people speaking and teaching about something, but I only felt truly alive when talking about Jesus. While a teacher at heart, I am first and foremost a storyteller, and I have a lot of stories to tell about the life of faith.
I have a particular heart for sharing about the transformation and healing that comes from abiding in Jesus—what it means to truly know Jesus, think like Jesus, and love like Jesus. I can speak at churches, retreats, and conferences, or as a guest on a podcast, radio, or television interview. That said, because the Holy Spirit can use almost anything as a vehicle for talking about Jesus, I’m open to a wide variety of speaking and teaching possibilities. Contact me and we can explore what we might do together.
